Brendan Works created PointCheck, a web accessibility testing tool that uses open-source AI models (Molmo, MolmoWeb, and Olmo 3) to evaluate web pages by visual rendering rather than code compliance alone. The tool automates keyboard navigation testing and focus indicator visibility checks across pages, with tests running on a single A10G GPU and producing plain-English reports without sending data to third parties. PointCheck addresses accessibility gaps that traditional code inspectors miss, helping developers ensure websites work for users relying on keyboard navigation and assistive technologies.
