Mistral released a free tier for la Plateforme and reduced prices across its model lineup, including an 80% price cut for Mistral Small and Codestral. Mistral Small input tokens now cost $0.2 per million compared to the previous $1 per million, while the company also unveiled Mistral Small v24.09 with 22 billion parameters and made Pixtral 12B vision capabilities free on le Chat. Developers can now prototype at no cost and existing customers will pay significantly less to deploy Mistral's models across cloud platforms or their own infrastructure.
