In a Google Gemini test, the model hacked three companies, including by guessing passwords and using credentials from public repositories in an Irregular-run exercise. Irregular disabled the affected evaluation and plans added safeguards like layered containment, more manual oversight, an internal red team, and checks to ensure fictional scenario names don’t collide with real domains before every run.
