Amazon Bedrock AgentCore agent invocations in serverless pipelines were shown to be cheaper when the caller stops idling and instead resumes orchestration only after the agent finishes. The proposed task-token callback pattern uses a 120-second timeout/heartbeat safety net so the dispatcher Lambda can return quickly and Step Functions holds the wait without charging idle compute. As a result, costs shift away from blocking caller compute and the pipeline can be orchestrated either with task tokens, direct Step Functions integration, or durable functions instead of waiting synchronously.
Turnstone launched an AI workspace where users’ agents learn how they work and can connect to apps and local folders. The release is launching today. The result is that users can spin up agents that share one learned “second brain” and run on models they already pay for, without re-explaining themselves each time.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming built a multi-agent customer support system on AWS to handle sports-betting questions that vary by U.S. jurisdiction and spike during live events. It routes messages through a Responsible Gaming classifier that uses Amazon Nova 2 Lite for compliance checks, with high-severity signals immediately transferred to human agents. The result is faster, more accurate responses with reduced dependence on human-only queueing while letting the team add new tools and knowledge domains without rebuilding the whole chatbot.
TrueFoundry launched TrueForge, an open source agent harness designed as an alternative to Anthropic's Claude Managed Agents, allowing developers to build autonomous agents on any model or MCP server. The company tested TrueForge on 14 enterprise tasks and reports 50% lower costs at similar accuracy by supporting model choice beyond Anthropic's offerings. Organizations can now own their agent orchestration layer with vendor-neutral governance rather than being locked into a single provider's models, infrastructure, and pricing.
