Querio has launched in London with $5m in funding, betting that the messiest part of AI in the workplace is not the model but the numbers underneath it. Investors in the round include BMW i Ventures, Haatch, Arāya Ventures, Forum Ventures and Secways.

The startup was founded in 2024 and is aimed at one of the more awkward side effects of employees leaning on AI assistants for business questions: everyone asks, but not everyone gets the same answer. Querio says that leaves data teams stuck reconciling conflicting responses instead of moving on to new work.

Its pitch is to give those teams a single place to inspect company data in a form that is easier to work with. The company says its AI agents can spot inconsistencies, update definitions and reports, and keep answers aligned across tools.

Rami Abi Habib, Querio’s co-founder and CEO, framed the problem as a long-running trap in analytics software: company logic gets locked inside the vendor’s product, then becomes hard to move and hard for AI to use. His example is blunt enough to make the point. A sales team renames a field in the CRM, the revenue dashboard breaks, the Slack bot says no deals closed last week, and Claude gives yet another number.

Querio says its system catches that change, fixes the parts that depend on it and sends the data team one update to approve. The company says the funding will go into its technology, with the aim of making every tool in the company answer from the same logic.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

This is the right target, because “AI for business” is mostly a consistency problem wearing a shiny demo suit. The market does not need more chatbots confidently freelancing with revenue numbers; it needs fewer teams cleaning up after them. If Querio can keep the logic in one place, that is a genuinely boring and useful win — the best kind.
