The second cohort of OpenAI Fellows completed a six-month apprenticeship program, advancing from beginners to core contributors on OpenAI projects. The program runs for 6 months and transitions participants from machine learning novices to active project contributors. OpenAI is now accepting rolling applications for the Summer 2019 Fellows cohort.
Why it matters
Our second class of OpenAI Fellows has wrapped up, with each Fellow going from a machine learning beginner to core OpenAI contributor in the course of a 6-month apprenticeship. We are currently reviewing applications on a rolling basis for our next round of OpenAI Fellows Summer 2019.
