Murmell

Murmell wants teams and AI agents working in the same room, on the same repo, without stepping on each other’s toes. That’s the pitch, anyway: a shared cloud canvas with a preview now, and more features promised later.

The practical trick is file claiming. Agents reserve the files they’re about to touch before they write, so people and bots can move at the same time without overwriting one another. That’s a small detail with a big job to do.

Murmell also says it can keep going after the laptop is shut. Close the canvas, come back later, and the same workspace is supposed to be there: terminals, files, conversations, the whole scene frozen and restored. Agents keep their context too, which is the part that usually disappears when a session dies.

The company says you can run Claude Code, Codex, Kimi, and OpenCode together right now. OpenClaw, Hermes, and more are on the way. And because the work lands back in git, the output isn’t trapped inside Murmell when the session ends.

This is Murmell’s second Product Hunt launch, after the first one brought in a wave of new users and exposed scaling problems in the infrastructure. The fix, it says, was to rebuild from scratch. That’s not exactly a small detour, but it does fit the product’s message: keep the room alive, even when people leave it.
