Opera launched WebAI, enabling AI models to run directly in the user’s browser without cloud services, with an early preview available in the Opera One browser. The feature is opt-in and Opera indicated it will roll out to its other browsers afterward.

Google is careful about where this lands first: Genie 4 is limited to trusted testers, then rolls out to Google AI Ultra subscribers and select partners, alongside a warning that details can drift and objects can vanish after edits.
