Unlocking the conversion of Web Screenshots into HTML Code with the WebSight Dataset

Hugging Face 2 years ago 36

Researchers released WebSight, a dataset of screenshot-to-HTML code pairs designed to train AI models for converting web designs into functional code. The dataset grew from 823,000 pairs in version 0.1 (January 2024) to 2 million pairs in version 0.2, now using real images and Tailwind CSS. The resulting Sightseer model can transform webpage screenshots into working HTML code, potentially reducing development time and enabling non-developers to convert UI sketches into functional websites.

CPU Optimized Embeddings with 🤗 Optimum Intel and fastRAG

Hugging Face 2 years ago 10

Hugging Face released optimized CPU-based embedding models using Optimum Intel and quantization techniques, targeting RAG pipeline performance improvements. The quantized BGE models achieved up to 4.5x latency speedup compared to original models while maintaining less than 1.55% accuracy loss on MTEB retrieval tasks. This enables faster document encoding and query processing on Intel Xeon CPUs without requiring specialized hardware.
