Unlocking the conversion of Web Screenshots into HTML Code with the WebSight Dataset

Researchers released WebSight, a dataset of screenshot-to-HTML code pairs designed to train AI models for converting web designs into functional code. The dataset grew from 823,000 pairs in version 0.1 (January 2024) to 2 million pairs in version 0.2, now using real images and Tailwind CSS. The resulting Sightseer model can transform webpage screenshots into working HTML code, potentially reducing development time and enabling non-developers to convert UI sketches into functional websites.
