Statsig and OpenAI: A New Chapter for Product Experimentation

OpenAI agreed to acquire Statsig, with the full Statsig team joining OpenAI and the company continuing to operate from its Seattle office. The acquisition was announced with a definitive agreement on the date of publication, and it is expected to close only after regulatory approval under customary conditions. Statsig will be integrated into OpenAI while still serving customers independently, and Vijaye Raji will become CTO of OpenAI’s Applications business.
