Upgrading agentic coding capabilities with the new Devstral models

Mistral AI and All Hands AI released Devstral Medium and upgraded Devstral Small 1.1, two coding models designed for agentic software development tasks. Devstral Small 1.1 scores 53.6% on SWE-Bench Verified while Devstral Medium achieves 61.6%, with the latter priced at $0.4 per million input tokens and $2 per million output tokens. Devstral Small 1.1 is open-sourced under Apache 2.0, while Devstral Medium is available through Mistral's API and supports on-premise deployment and custom finetuning for enterprise use.
