TwinMind brought its desktop app to Mac and Windows. It auto-joins meetings, transcribes in 140+ languages, and can paste cleaned-up dictation anywhere.

TwinMind is back on Product Hunt with its third launch, this time as a desktop app for Mac and Windows. The pitch is simple: let the software sit across your day, listen in, and turn the noise of meetings and conversations into something useful.

The app says it can capture what you say and hear in meetings, lectures, and in-person conversations. It then transcribes, summarizes, and suggests follow-up tasks, while building what TwinMind calls an AI Second Brain in the background.

On desktop, the product gets a more practical shape. It can auto-detect meetings in Zoom, Meet, Teams and other apps, then provide live transcripts and summaries in more than 140 languages. Calendar reminders can help you get into the call, and a one-click join flow is built in.

There’s also a floating mic that follows you across apps. Hold the hotkey, dictate a thought, and TwinMind cleans it up before pasting it wherever you’re writing. That part is less flashy than the “Second Brain” pitch, and probably more immediately useful. People don’t always need another grand AI promise; sometimes they just need the computer to write down what was said without making a fuss.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

This is the right kind of AI product: boring in the best way, useful before it becomes philosophical. The obsession with “proactive” assistants usually ends in clutter, but a desktop tool that captures meetings and cleans up dictation has a real job to do. If the AI age has a sensible middle class, it looks a lot like this.
