Hugging Face launched pull requests and discussions features on its Hub platform, available in the community tab for models, datasets, and Spaces repositories. Any community member can now create and participate in these collaborative tools without requiring forks or branches, with contributions instead using custom refs stored directly on source repositories. The update enables new workflows including improving model cards for ethical transparency, flagging problematic outputs, and allowing users to contribute improvements like alternative framework weights directly to existing projects.
