Guideless has pulled in a €1 million pre-seed round to attack a boring but expensive problem: the endless grind of making and updating training materials for workplace software. Superhero Capital led the deal, with FIRSTPICK VC and angels including Vinted Group CEO Thomas Plantenga, Vinted Go CEO Vytautas Atkočaitis, and Vinted co-founder Mantas Mikuckas joining in.

The company’s pitch is simple enough to understand and, if it works, annoying in how obvious it sounds. Instead of writing guides from scratch, an employee carries out a workflow while running Guideless. The platform captures the steps, then uses AI to turn them into a visual sequence with text instructions, highlights, zoom effects, a transcript, captions, and branded narration.

That output is editable step by step, which is the real point. Companies can update, duplicate, translate, and adapt the material without treating every change like a small emergency. Guideless says that approach lets teams create and update training documentation up to 10x faster. Its narration supports more than 40 languages, so one captured workflow can be localised without re-recording it each time.

The funding will go toward product development, hiring, and planned expansion into the British, European, and American markets. And there is a wider market here too: the company points to a training, knowledge management, and AI workflow automation space expected to be worth over $21.5 billion by 2031. The gap, in Guideless’ telling, is that businesses still lack a central place to capture workflows, audit them, and surface inefficiencies.

Evaldas Bieliūnas, the company’s co-founder and CEO, said the idea grew out of years spent leading commercial teams and onboarding employees across multiple countries, including at Vinted Go. He framed Guideless as more than a documentation tool, calling it an evolving memory layer for companies. Superhero Capital’s Audrius Milukas backed that view, saying the company is trying to solve problems businesses do not yet realise they have. Vinted’s Thomas Plantenga pointed to his own company’s use of the platform, saying manual rebuilding after UI updates used to take weeks and now happens with minimal oversight.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

This is the kind of startup pitch that sounds mundane until the spreadsheet hurts. Companies have spent years pretending training docs are a side quest; they’re actually part of the operating system, and most of them are ancient. Tools that turn institutional memory into something live and editable will matter more than another shiny AI wrapper with a louder demo reel.
