Anthropic stopped using coding interviews for candidate screening, saying its top builders don’t need those tests. This change was implemented this month by the company’s hiring manager. Instead of short coding exercises, Anthropic will focus hiring evaluation on other signals as Claude is described as strong enough to make interview-style challenges less informative.
