Sundar Pichai is an Indian-American technology executive who serves as CEO of Google and its parent company Alphabet Inc. He joined Google in 2004 and rose through product leadership roles, notably overseeing Chrome, Chrome OS, and later Android, before being named CEO of Google in 2015. In 2019 he additionally became CEO of Alphabet, succeeding co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin in that role. He is known for guiding Google's shift toward mobile and AI-driven products, including the integration of AI research from Google DeepMind into the company's core operations. Pichai holds engineering and business degrees from IIT Kharagpur, Stanford University, and the Wharton School.
