With the SEC having published the S-1 ahead of its anticipated Nasdaq listing under ticker ANT, Anthropic’s filings put hard numbers around the tension investors now care about: for the six months ended June 30, revenue hit $16.29 billion while compute and infrastructure expense climbed to $8.95 billion. In parallel, Anthropic spent its latest technical messaging on the mechanics of control—splitting the “brain” from the “hands,” running untrusted code in isolated sandboxes, and protecting credentials with persistent harnesses. It also shipped Claude Opus 5.5 and, in the platform update, pushed developers toward new API expectations and evaluation practices that lean on customer-specific harnesses rather than one-size-fits-all testing.
