“Make robots fight instead of people”: Mykhailo Fedorov launches Army of Robots — and you could be its CTO

Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of Ukraine’s Army of Robots at IT Arena in Lviv and opened applications for defence-tech companies, engineers, and a CTO/tech lead. The initiative explicitly builds on the Army of Drones launched in 2022, where drones now account for more than 95% of strikes and Ukraine has more than 700 UAV manufacturers. The program shifts Ukrainian defence innovation toward robotisation by funding and scaling battlefield robotics alongside other defence technology projects, aiming to move faster from battlefield needs to deployed systems.
