AMD and Hugging Face launched a global developer contest offering free access to AMD hardware for building AI applications across generative AI, robotics, and PC categories. The competition distributes $160,000 in total prizes and provides 700 AMD platforms to participants, including devices like the Radeon PRO W7900 GPU and Ryzen AI-powered PCs. Developers can now deploy Hugging Face transformer models on AMD hardware without code modifications, with additional support for ONNX execution, DeepSpeed, and other acceleration tools.
