Tool Photo Scrubber was created to automatically blur identifiable faces and remove photo metadata from images before sharing. It was built using Google's MediaPipe C++ compiled to WebAssembly and the BlazeFace face detection model. As a result, users can run a local experimental workflow that processes images in their browser rather than uploading them.
