On theCUBE Pod: Dreamforce unveils the agentic dream, and Nscale files to go public

SiliconANGLE Devony Hof Covered by 8 sources

Salesforce showed off more agent tools at Dreamforce, including AIforce and headless access. That’s pushing its software toward a behind-the-scenes AI layer, while Nscale just filed to go public.

Salesforce left Dreamforce 2026 with a clearer bet than ever: the future of its software is not a prettier screen, but agents sitting on top of the business itself. The company introduced AIforce, a new AI interface layer, and expanded on Headless 360, which lets people reach Salesforce tools without using the normal user interface.

That matters because Salesforce is trying to turn all of that into what it calls an Enterprise AI Harness — a common architecture that combines data, business knowledge, workflows and control for agents. John Furrier called it more than a product cycle. In his view, agents are pushing a rebuild of the enterprise stack, from applications and interfaces all the way down to security, infrastructure and capital allocation.

Dave Vellante said Headless 360 points toward a “system of intelligence” that helps agents understand how a business actually works. The setup is still early, and he said as much, but Salesforce seems determined to make its own tools the place where the data is harmonized and process knowledge gets injected. He also noted that any surface — from Claude to Slack — could end up creating the interface, which would drive more token demand and, by extension, more pressure on core data center infrastructure.

There is also a practical business question hanging over all of this: pricing. Salesforce is still figuring that part out, even as research from Qualitate suggests 75% of respondents who modeled or experienced the financial impact of headless access expect their Salesforce spending to rise rather than fall. That is the strange part of the agent story so far. The more invisible the software becomes, the more money it may pull toward the infrastructure underneath it.

The same episode of theCUBE Pod also broke news on Nscale Global Holdings Ltd. The U.K.-based company, which builds AI-optimized data centers and is backed by Nvidia, filed to go public on the New York Stock Exchange. It is not profitable yet, but it is betting that demand for AI data center capacity keeps growing — a wager that now has a very public price tag attached to it.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

The market still wants to pretend AI is mostly a software story, but the money keeps landing in the plumbing. Salesforce is chasing agents, Nscale is chasing data center demand, and both are basically bets that the boring layers will print the real returns. That’s where the hype finally has to meet a power bill.
