Building agents that transact with Anchor Browser and AgentCore payments

Amazon Web Services Cher Simon

Anchor Browser, integrated with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore payments, enables AI agents to automatically complete HTTP 402 Payment Required transactions for x402-protected APIs and web pages. The workflow uses an x402 payment exchange where the service enforces spending limits and authorizes payments inside a dedicated PaymentSession created for each browser session. As a result, agents no longer need to build or manage cryptographic payment signing, wallet/key handling, and retry logic in their runtime, and payment attempts become observable via CloudWatch.

Why it matters

Learn how the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center Partner Agent Factory and Anchor Browser built AI agents that autonomously pay for x402-protected web resources and APIs. Amazon Bedrock AgentCore payments checks budgets, signs transactions, and retries requests without exposing wallet credentials to the agent runtime.
