Real World Voice EQ Bench introduced a multidimensional benchmark to evaluate voice AI in real conversational conditions across ASR, speech understanding, STS, and text-to-speech.
ElevenLabs completed a $300m employee tender offer and reported its company valuation doubled to $22bn. The tender offer closed at $300m. The result is new first-time investors taking part in the offer and employees getting liquidity as the company continues releasing text-to-speech models and its AI platform.
KugelAudio launched Clarity, a self-hostable real-time text-to-speech system with voice cloning and grammar-aware normalization. It targets sub-60ms latency. Clarity-1 also adds real-time speech enhancement and target speaker extraction so callers’ audio is cleaner for voice agents as it streams in.
Open TTS Leaderboard introduces objective-metric evaluation to rank multilingual text-to-speech and voice cloning models instead of relying on human-vote arenas. It reports macro-average English WER using Seed TTS Eval and CV3 Eval, as of Sep 30, 2026. It adds faster scoring (hours vs weeks) plus optional voice-cloning and streaming metrics (TTFA) alongside an interactive listen-and-vote tab for human preference.
