Destro launched from stealth with an $8 million seed round and built an AI “intelligence layer” that coordinates robots and human workers for logistics workflows instead of making robot hardware from scratch. The rollout at one Yusen facility in the Pacific northwest started as a pilot using three cart-moving robots. Destro is expanding to a 26-robot deployment and adding a second pilot with 17 robots, with plans to replicate the cross-dock process across many other warehouses.
OpenAI’s agents branding for “dots” was followed by the dot.com domain redirecting users to xAI’s Grok Bot page, a move attributed to Elon Musk’s company in multiple reports. The redirect was first flagged on Tuesday at DevDay in San Francisco, and the dot.com domain was transferred to xAI in July. As a result, attention shifted from OpenAI’s agent launch to a branding/typo conflict with SpaceXAI, amid an ongoing dispute between the two firms.
Anthropic’s Frontier Red Team says Z.ai’s open-weight GLM-5.3 can autonomously generate full cyberattacks similarly to its Claude Mythos Preview but with safeguards missing or bypassable. In ExploitBench tests, GLM-5.3 completed a complete exploit in 50 of 410 attempts. As a result, Anthropic argues governments should run safety testing on such models’ successors and notes defenders could also benefit, while open weights allow safeguards to be removed or exploited more easily.
