Computomics raises €6.3M to scale climate-smart plant breeding

Computomics, a German agritech company, raised €6.3 million in Series B funding to expand its machine learning platform that helps plant breeders predict crop performance under different climate conditions. The round was led by Convent Capital Agri Food Fund with €5 million, supported by existing investors and EU funding. The capital will accelerate commercial deployment of its ×SeedScore platform and related breeding tools across field crops, vegetables, and other varieties.
