Rayon raises €10M Series A to expand AI-powered interior design platform

Rayon has closed a €10 million Series A to push its browser-based drawing platform deeper into AI and 3D, and to widen its sales and marketing reach. Partech led the round, with Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp all coming back in. The company says the deal brings its total funding to nearly €16 million.

The pitch is simple: interior designers and experiential teams should not have to wrestle with software built first for architects and engineers. Rayon runs in the browser and lets users import PDFs, images and DWG plans, then build custom libraries of components and move from feasibility work to execution without leaving the same space.

That same space matters. Plans, styling, specifications and schedules sit together, so edits in one place can flow through to the others. Teams can work on the same project at once, and drawings can be shared through a link instead of being exported and passed around like a file from another century.

Rayon’s founders know the first reaction can be disbelief. In demos, people expect a lightweight web app and then find performance and features they associate with heavier legacy CAD tools. Bastien Dolla, the company’s co-founder and CEO, says the aim is to make professional-grade CAD approachable. Stanislas Chaillou, co-founder and COO/CPO, says the company wants AI built into the drawing experience itself, not bolted on from somewhere else.

The existing AI tools already include a floor plan vectoriser that turns scanned or photographed plans into editable drawings with walls, openings and zones, plus a feature that generates blocks from photos. Rayon has also shipped a mobile-first app, a presentation mode for client sharing and editing, and a larger template library. The next step is a V4 release expected before the end of the year, with more AI capabilities alongside 3D.
