Pitchfire for Startups has launched on Product Hunt as a new way for startups to reach investors who may actually fit them. The pitch is simple: upload a deck, let its AI match the company with VCs, and get an email intro handled by Pitchfire.

The service says it can intro founders to three investors a day. It also says startups can upload their own investor lists, and Pitchfire will make an introduction if it has the contact data for those people. So this is less a giant marketplace than a matching layer with some automated legwork.

There’s a neat bit of symmetry here. Over the past year, the team says it built AI associates for VC firms, and now it’s turning that same idea around to serve founders instead. That tells you exactly where the company thinks the leverage is: not in replacing the human relationship, but in taking over the tedious first pass.

The result is a tool aimed at speed and targeting, not spray-and-pray outreach. Whether investors want another AI middleman is another question, but Pitchfire is clearly betting that founders are tired enough of cold email to try one more machine-assisted shortcut.
