‘NBA 2K27’ With NVIDIA DLSS 5 Leads 26 New Games Coming to GeForce NOW

September is starting with a busy GeForce NOW update: NVIDIA says 26 games are coming to the service this month, with NBA 2K27 at the front of the line. The hook here is DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, which NVIDIA says it built with Visual Concepts and 2K to give the court more lifelike lighting and material detail.

That means the basketball game is being pitched not just as another cloud release, but as a showcase for the new rendering tech. NVIDIA says DLSS 5 is tuned to make the action feel more authentic, from the way light hits hair and skin to the facial detail of real-world athletes. GeForce NOW Ultimate members in NVIDIA-operated regions will be able to stream it on PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, TVs and more, with DLSS 5 available on a GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rig.

The week also brings two very different launches. Rebel Wolves’ The Blood of Dawnwalker is now streaming, sending players into 14th-century Europe, where war, plague and vampire powers have reshaped the world. You play as Coen, a young Dawnwalker caught between being human by day and cursed by night, with different abilities and choices depending on the time.

Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword is joining at launch too. It sends members into a twisted Edo-period Kyoto, where a lone samurai uses the Oni Gauntlet, precise swordplay and soul-absorbing attacks against the Genma. NVIDIA says Ultimate members can stream it with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, and Firefox is now among the supported browsers.

Beyond those three, NVIDIA lists a long run of titles for this week and later in the month, from Breathedge 2 and Serious Sam: Shatterverse to Bus Simulator 27, Train Sim World 7, Stray and What Remains of Edith Finch. It also says 18 more games from August have been added to the library, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and No Man’s Sky, though availability can vary as games are onboarded after release.
