Czech startup FLÆ Robotics lands over €1M to automate hotel guest services

Czech startup FLÆ Robotics raised over €1M to push its hotel AI agent BE-A. It already handles bookings and guest messages at 60+ hotels, so staff can skip the repetitive stuff.

FLÆ Robotics, a Czech technology company, has raised more than €1 million in seed funding from Purple Ventures and Garage Angels. The money is meant to push forward its AI hospitality platform, BE-A, and help the company expand beyond its current markets.

BE-A is built to take over the kind of work hotel teams drown in every day. It answers guest questions around the clock through WhatsApp, email, web chat and phone calls. It can also check room availability, handle reservations and share information about hotel services by connecting directly with hotel management systems. And when a message is not meant for the front desk, it can sort it and send it to the right team or workflow instead.

That matters because FLÆ Robotics says BE-A is already doing real volume. The platform is used by more than 60 hotels across the United Kingdom, Germany and the Czech Republic. In July and August 2026, it processed about 265,000 messages and voice interactions across nearly 160,000 conversations, which works out to more than 4,000 interactions a day. In that same period, it completed more than 3,400 hotel bookings without human help.

Founder and CEO Filip Linek says the aim is not just to answer questions, but to do the next step inside hotel systems. That is a neat way of saying the company wants software to stop being a polite chatbot and start doing actual work. FLÆ Robotics plans to use the funding to speed up product development, hire more people and support international growth.

The expansion plan is already laid out: strengthen its presence in Germany, enter Austria, build on its recent launch in the United Kingdom and prepare for the US hotel market. The real test now is whether BE-A can keep that pace as it moves into more hotels, more systems and more languages.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

This is the kind of automation pitch that actually makes sense: boring, repetitive hotel admin first, grand AI manifesto second. Hotels do not need more buzzwords; they need fewer midnight emails and fewer humans clicking through the same booking screens all day. If software can take the first pass and leave staff for the messy human bits, that is progress, not hype.
