CO2 Emissions and the 🤗 Hub: Leading the Charge

Hugging Face Hub added tools to track and report CO2 emissions from machine learning model training and to search for models based on their carbon footprint. The hub now contains 191 models trained with a maximum of 100 grams of CO2 emissions, and 10 models that emitted 500 or more grams. Users can automatically log emissions during training using the codecarbon integration with the Transformers library and include this data in model cards for transparency.
