Two reports describe experiments in which a reconstructed fruit-fly brain controller was connected to game inputs to drive gameplay in simulations. One setup used mapped inferred retinal inputs with fixed connectome connectivity for Doom-like control, while another used replay data and reinforcement learning for Beat Saber with plans to reduce dependence on replays in later training.
