Google is testing a Gemini feature on Pixel 11 that lets the assistant call businesses on a user’s behalf

Google is running an early test of a Gemini capability called “Call for Me” on Pixel 11 devices in the U.S. The feature allows Gemini to place local business phone calls using the user’s own number, with the user able to approve and monitor a live transcript and take over during the call. Google says the assistant can handle steps like dialing, automated menus, and completing tasks such as reservations or rescheduling.
