Mistral AI released Mistral OCR 3, an optical character recognition model that achieves 74% higher performance than its predecessor on forms, scanned documents, tables, and handwriting. The model costs $2 per 1,000 pages through standard API or $1 per 1,000 pages with batch processing discounts. Organizations can now use the tool via API integration or a new drag-and-drop interface in Mistral AI Studio to extract and structure text from documents at scale.
