Introducing interactive on-device segmentation in Snapseed

Google introduced Object Brush, a new feature in Snapseed powered by an on-device AI segmentation model that lets users select and edit specific objects in photos by drawing simple strokes. The Interactive Segmenter model completes object detection in under 20ms on-device, trained on 30,000 manually annotated images across 350+ object categories and distilled using 2 million weakly annotated images. The feature makes selective photo editing more accessible by eliminating the need for imprecise manual selections on mobile devices.
