DeepSeek released an updated version of its V3 base model with an MIT license, focusing on improvements to instruction following and capabilities in code and math. Performance gains included AIME scores rising from 39.6 to 59.4 points and LiveCodeBench scores improving from 39.2 to 49.2 points. The model is now available through multiple inference providers including Fireworks, Hyperbolic, and Novita, with quantized versions available for lower-compute deployment.
