Mistral AI launched "AI for Citizens," an initiative offering governments and public institutions customizable AI technology and deployment options as an alternative to proprietary, closed systems from dominant vendors. The company is already partnering with seven countries including France, Luxembourg, and Singapore, providing self-hosted deployment options, data sovereignty guarantees, and localized model training.
