SpaceX's xAI launched Grok 4.5, a coding-focused frontier model developed in partnership with Cursor, positioned for cost-efficiency and speed rather than benchmark supremacy. The model costs $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens, with a 1.5 trillion parameter size that is 3 times larger than its predecessor Grok 4.3.
