Amazon is reportedly in talks to acquire Decart for about $7B, following Anthropic’s exit from a roughly $6B deal in September after due diligence. The proposed price is about 75% above Decart’s nearly $4B valuation in May. If talks proceed, ownership likely shifts to Amazon and the question becomes whether Decart’s chip-neutral software continues to work across rival hardware.

The latest monthly report updates the funding picture by showing a rebound versus August while keeping exit activity steady at 39 transactions for the month.
Manus, the AI agent startup, raised more than $500 million after Beijing blocked Meta from buying it. The funding round brought in over $500 million (about €445 million), led by Boyu Capital and IDG Capital. The company says it will keep hiring and is also reportedly considering an IPO in Hong Kong.
Nvidia is in talks to acquire Reflection AI or increase its stake after considering options including a full buyout or an acqui-hire arrangement. The talks were reported by the Financial Times and could result in a deal within weeks. If completed, Nvidia would expand from selling AI chips into owning more of an open-weight model business through either a technology-licensing and hiring deal or a purchase.
