Tetriz Harness is launching on Product Hunt with a simple pitch for teams using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Kiro: make agent setups less messy and easier to repair. The project is open source and aimed at workflow automation for developers who are already living inside these tools.

Its first piece, Harness Recommendations, looks for what’s broken in an agent’s rules, skills, hooks, and permissions. It also checks what’s missing by looking at a team’s sessions. That matters because these agent systems can fail in annoying, hard-to-trace ways, and teams usually notice the symptoms before they see the cause.

The second piece, Control Plane, takes those fixes and ships them team-wide. That turns the product from a diagnostic layer into something closer to a shared operating surface for agent behavior.

The company is leaning hard into the reality that AI coding agents are no longer solo toys. Once a team starts using them in anger, consistency becomes the whole game. Tetriz Harness is betting that the boring work of permissions, hooks, and rules is exactly where the value sits.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

Open tools for agent management are the right move. Closed systems love to sell magic; teams usually need a way to see what broke and fix it without waiting for a vendor’s blessing. The unglamorous plumbing is where the grown-up AI products will win.
