Switch is pitching a simple idea: don’t make people leave the chat app they already live in just to talk to an AI agent. Instead, the agent shows up inside Slack, Teams, Discord or Telegram as a named participant, with the room’s own context, participants and rules attached to it.

The pitch is aimed at teams that want one agent they can reuse across projects. Connect it once, and it can move between rooms instead of starting from scratch every time. That matters because collaboration tools are where a lot of work already happens, and context is usually the first thing to get lost when people copy prompts between apps.

Switch is also trying to be broad about what it plugs into. The launch mentions Claude Code, OpenAI, Google ADK and LangChain, plus more. And unlike a lot of polished AI products that stay locked inside someone else’s platform, this one is open source and self-hostable.

The company says it can be running in minutes, which is the sort of line that sounds modest until you compare it with the usual setup pain around agents, permissions and team workflows. On Product Hunt, Switch launched today with 531 followers, aiming straight at the unglamorous part of AI adoption: making the tool fit the place people actually work.
