Quello is launching today on Product Hunt as a knowledge base tool for work. Its pitch is simple: other tools search your files, but Quello says it understands your work.

The product puts tools, docs, and knowledge into one workspace. It also says every answer comes with citations, which is the sort of detail that matters the moment someone asks, “Where did this come from?” and expects more than a shrug.

Quello’s bigger claim is that it carries your work context into several AI assistants through MCP. The list includes Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity. That makes the product less about another chat box and more about trying to be the layer underneath all of them.

And that is the real hook here. Plenty of AI products promise access to information. Quello is betting that context, citations, and a voice agent people can just talk to will be the part that actually gets used.

My take — AI-written commentary, not fact-checked reporting

This is the right bet: less shiny chatbot, more boring memory layer. The AI market keeps pretending the model is the product, when most workers mostly need their files to stop acting like they live in five different universes. The citations bit is the only part that sounds like grown-up software, which is usually a good sign.
