Meta is making Muse more powerful and will let you video chat with it, too

Meta is moving fast on Muse. The AI agent, which only recently launched, is getting a round of upgrades that make it feel less like a chat box and more like something that can actually do work for you.

One change gives Muse its own email addresses. Meta says the agent can use those addresses to complete tasks, and people will be able to reach the agent there as well. That’s a small detail with a big implication: Muse is no longer confined to one chat window.

The Mac app is picking up another useful trick too. Meta plans to let the recently launched Muse Mac app use your computer, which pushes the product closer to the kind of agent people have been imagining when they talk about AI doing things, not just talking about them.

And then there’s video. Meta is adding video calls as another way to interact with Muse, which broadens the experience beyond the text interface that has been the main way to use it since launch. The company isn’t slowing down here; it’s layering on new ways to meet the same agent from different angles.
