OpenAI is launching Stargate Norway, its first AI data center initiative in Europe as part of the OpenAI for Countries program. The facility will operate as part of Stargate, OpenAI's broader infrastructure platform designed to support AI deployment at scale. This represents OpenAI's expansion of computational infrastructure beyond the United States to serve European markets and customers.
Why it matters
