Domain and publish date filters for Web Search on AgentCore
Amazon Web Services Gaurav Deshmukh
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore added runtime domain and published-date filtering to its Web Search connector so agents can constrain which web sources they use and how fresh results must be. The connector version 1.2.0 ships with per-call domain allow/deny lists limited to 100 entries each and ISO-8601 UTC published-date bounds. Web Search is now enforced server-side with layered admin-plus-runtime governance, and it’s also enabled in eu-west-1 and ap-northeast-1 for lower-latency regional access.
Why it matters
Web Search on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore now supports runtime domain and published-date filtering. New per-request filters give developers per-call control over which web sources their agents consult and how fresh those sources must be, all enforced server-side. This release also expands Web Search to the Europe (Ireland) and Asia Pacific (Tokyo) Regions.
