Automating coherent long-form video generation

An AI video co-director, a unified multi-agent framework, was introduced to plan visual continuity for multi-shot long-form video generation instead of relying on chained prompt pipelines that accumulate drift and failures. It is scheduled to appear at COLM 2026 as part of the authors’ Co-Director research suite. The result is an approach that targets global optimization and world-state tracking to improve multi-shot narrative consistency and character persistence while reducing visual drift and pipeline error propagation.
