Google’s new Gemini agent is built for persistent, multi-channel execution across web, mobile, desktop, Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack, with spend caps that can pause an agent when thresholds are hit. In a parallel move, Elon Musk’s Grok Bot is reportedly shifting from Grok-only answering to per-task model routing, with Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney, and Suno cited as possible back ends. Architect Financial Technologies adds a more literal version of that idea with Liquid Inference, a per-request live auction that routes inference to the best bidder for a named model while capping price before the first token is generated.
