Yann LeCun, former Meta chief scientist, has joined 224 Ventures, a newly established venture capital fund co-founded by Oriol Vinyals and Shaun Johnson with $100 million under management. The fund will make investments of $1 million to $5 million in early-stage AI startups, backed by 244 AI operator limited partners. This move follows LeCun's withdrawal from Extelligence Invest due to exclusivity conflicts.
