Wispr, an AI dictation startup, raised $280 million in Series B funding led by Menlo Ventures at a $2 billion valuation. The company simultaneously launched Canto, its proprietary speech model that achieves 5–10% word error rates in noisy conditions, and integrated it into Wispr Flow along with a new meeting notetaker feature to enable voice-to-text across multiple platforms.
