Waymo released additional self-reported safety data covering 271 million driverless miles across five cities through the end of June, along with figures showing fewer crashes than human drivers. The coverage also describes Waymo scaling its robotaxi service from 3 to 15 U.S. cities and increasing its vehicle footprint, especially concentrated in California and Texas, where Zeekr-based minivans are making up a growing share of newly added vehicles.
